Back home for a holiday - thought you'd be interested

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Hi all

Bringing the family back to NZ for Christmas for Xmas and New Years. Currently in HK where they have free wifi (very civilised!) and thought you'd be interested in a couple of shots.

The first is the view from the window of NZ38 (Boeing 777-200) over China somewhere (!) and the second what I think it a 737-700? Some of you guys would know better than I but that 737 must be pretty old by now!

all the best
Jay

A beautiful Xmas day Ian!

Can anyone identify which 737 that actually is? It says 737-700 on the nose gear cover but there isn't such a thing. I looked up Air China on wiki and the earliest 737 they run are 300's. This one looks older than a 300.

You're probably right. Just confused by the 737 - 700 designation. Difficult to see on the photo.

Its Not a Classic winkyy.gif biggrin.gif ... The Chinese have a very weird registration , most all 737s are hard to define , the 700 s are in a sense a 800 , internal are different , Hells if it was a 707 i would have no hesitation to jump on board if that,s your fear . biggrin.gif
