A brief statement:

My thoughts go out to all Cantabrians affected by todays earthquake and subsequent tremors! Just when you guys pick yourselves up, then again...

I know how you feel Scotty.....just when you think "well, that wasnt too bad" ....bang.....i dont have a lot of options. My folks are here (late 70's with problems)Im still not 100% after the little stroke.....Ive got other family here, but i really....really , just want to get out. I think this place has had it....forget the bloody "white lights of hope"....and all bobs positive bs....people here are on edge, scared.

I heard a doctor of geophysics talking on the radio last night, and he said (at last) this (the canterbury quakes) is not normal...."this is a 1 in 1000 year event, and we have no model to work from, anything can happen".

Anyway, Im moving in with Doug next week....i just havent told him yet (its a surprise) tongue.gif

If you need a hand with anything (you , or any other chc members) just pm me......maybe we could have a chc "chapter" meeting sometime.

Hang in there .

Doug , Marty,s move may be like the EQs .... you just don,t no when the move is on .

They said a 15% chance we would get a scale 6 .. these were quick jolts .. I mentioned we are still in for the big one , think that was the precursor ... If they reopened Wigram Airbase , the quakes will stop . biggrin.gif
