Autogen Question

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby ScottyB » Tue Oct 27, 2009 5:44 pm

Is there any program out there that covers all ground with realistic and dense Autogen (trees, bushes, shrubs etc)?

I have flying low over Fiordland (where the bush is meant to been extremely thick) and seeing one little shrub every couple of hundred metres.

And yes, my Autogen slider is maxed.

Thanks,
ScottyB

No, not really. The autogen is 'annotated', or hand-placed, on texture tiles, which are controlled by the land classification. So to change the autogen, you really need to change the landclass, which is possible. I'd visit FSDeveloper.com and get some tips on changing the landclass.

Funny you should ask- I just finished a flight around that area over the landclass project I am working on. Have a look in the screen shot section in about 5 minutes smile.gif

Hopefully there are enough trees for ya
