Believe me thats is a sweet aircraft and that looks pretty much a good deal to me ,trademe is a sweet place to deal with as long as you do you research on the seller normally things go sweet as a hot pie on a cold day

Yea its a nice model - I have it for review purposes (which I need to finish! - sorry Christian). IF you like vintage, slow or biplanes its a must.

I agree, I Have had no bad experiences over the years. You must review the seller and check previous trades.

This one looks ok to me.

Guess it's easier to sell a boxed version, wonder what the licence terms are?
Generally they say something like "Installation on one PC for private use" and often not transferable.
Once you've bought the used software, does it phone home, and would the vendor need to activate it?
I suspect by the time you've gone down that whole track (if it matters to you) the twenty bucks saved could've been better used for a cuppa coffee and a bun.

Before transfer of cash would find this out , AH-Just flight are sticklers at product registration, which is good , sure people must by sell and transfer licence terms to orginal vendor .

Don't bother! It's little better than a ported FS9 plane, the paintkit has some serious mismaps that I reported 2 years ago (along with other bugs) and still haven't been fixed. It's file management is a flop - over 700MB disc space - not one sensible use of the fallback. The various model bits use different textures depending on mil or civ mdl files. eats FPS. The model has been approved by the DeHavilland society??? Oh yes?? So they are blind and didn't spot that the model has only 9 wing ribs indicated and the real one has 10 plus 2 inter-rib nose ribs top and one bottom. They've modelled a FLAT wing, and yet LIC made a bulged fabric wing for his freeware Eagle. The Tiger is damned expensive for the standard provided. They, JF, never tidied the files up - there's still a few AH files in the folders.

It is, on the other a beautiful little plane if you don't want to do anything with it. I don't think any painter has skinned her yet - in two years. People just fly it and forget it and pretend they didn't spend their money on it.

But then again, Warwick Carter's freeware tiger is better.

Sorry 'bout that folks. I did buy the Tiger but it is disappointing when you are used to better value for money and better quality. Now if WC would port his over...

I was really looking ... intent on buying .. my last offer would have been $ 25 NZ , another bounced it to $30.80 cents duurrrrrr?

.. looks like someone was just out to play ping pong .. final was $ 40 NZ .. then there is the cost with post , correct details , and .. well end of the day i wont have it so i did,nt .

Sorry Chris I beg to differ - yes it may be expensive (and you probably need to be a keen biplane, Tiger Moth or vintage nut to spend that much on such a slow FS a/c), they may of miscounted wing ribs, its not fully FSXed, its a bit FPS hungry (in FS9 its fine in a reasonable PC -might be critical in FSX though) and it might be difficult to repaint (which is a bit of a pity) but I think Aeroplane Heaven have nailed the shape, sound and feel of the Tiger Moth and the VC is great - FDE might also be slightly suspect as its probably a bit easier to fly than the real thing. There are also plenty of different colour schemes that come with the package. The freeware ones just don't look right to me.
