Just to let you know how much of a dumb ass I am.

Cleaning up files, emptied recycle bin straight away and presto, no logbook.

Checked out a few recovery programs on line, chose what I thought was the bees knees, purchased it and i still have no Logbook.

Last Printout FSX
Logbook.

635.9 Hour TT

521.4 Hours Multi
51.6 Hours IFR
199.6 Hours Night
487 Landings

Oh well,
I better start the long road back, Still have all the FS Badges etc to gaze at.

Bye

There is one program i know of that would recover anything and that's "Easy Recovery " same program they used to recover the black box info of discovery or challenger space shuttle i forget ,this program will even get stuff off formatted harddrives prob not worth the money for a log file though ...

How long was it since you last did a back up?
If you deleted that then you could start a new one and put a single entry with all your old hours in.

Have you tried "System restore".
That will do the trick providing you have your drive monitored and have a system restore date prior to your problem.
This has got me out of all sorts of problems in the past.

Thanks daniel,

Did this yesterday.

I had a print out of hours flown in each aircraft, Night IFR, Total time, landings etc.

I Use Logbook editor and made entries for each aircraft. rolleyes.gif

I have my hours back, just not the correct airports used.

Worked well. thumbup1.gif

Thanks to addons and tools by people like at NZFF. notworthy.gif clapping.gif

Cheers all.
