I know...they use flight simulators or "sim-pits" for training real pilots as well.....but leave it long enough and everyone has one :)

Tower Guy any idea when the stop bar lights are to be fitted at NZAA so that TO's with vis less than 350m can commence?
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

end of may is the latest I've heard so far - but things are always subject to change.

For anyone considering purchasing the Wilco / feelThere Tower Simulator mentioned in one of the posts above......... in one word DON'T! I did and certainly wish I had saved my hard earned cash! I won't go into the full details as the link below echoes all of my sentiments. In short, once you look past the glossy download site and nice graphics, you will quickly come to realise this is nothing more than a game - and a cheap, nasty, poorly coded one at that. Aircraft taxi way to fast and very jerkily, the flight dynamics are completely unrealistic (Think flat approaches, no landing flare, no nose rotation on takeoff), you only require about 7 of the 30-odd programmed commands to survive, there are no penalties for losses of separation, despite coming bundled with Voice Buddy and TrackIR they neither work well and worst of all no support is offered.......... and the list goes on! My advice - save your $95 and buy something for FSX! This post will also be posted under the non-FS forum as I would absolutely HATE for someone else to throw their cash at this dog!

Tower Simulation by Wilco Publishing is a Rip-Off
