Question:DC-10 ANZ

Hey all the past month i have been interested in the air new zealand DC-10.
I am wondering about a photo i found:

It is off an old timetable i think.
but i was wondering does anyone know where this is ?
like is it wellington.
Oh and if any1 else has a bigger photo could they please tell me where to find it?

I am about 90% sure that photo is taken at Rarotonga - looks too tropical t be Wellington

Definitley Rarotonga. I'm sure I've seen more pics like that.

It certainly did - after the runway was extended - this has some details of routes the Air NZ Dc-10s flew.

Sorry guys but it's not Rarotonga, it's actually Pago Pago and the DC10 was a very rare visitor there for Air NZ. The photo was taken 1970's.
My old man was the boss for Air NZ at Pago and Apia 1978-79 until they stopped operating DC8's to PPG in May 1979. We moved to Rarotonga in September 1979.
Pago Pago had frequent DC10 visits in the form of Continental's DC10-10

Lots of great memories from back then.
