Here are some pointers for a repaint photoshoot:
1. Try for a bright overcast day so you don't get sun highlights. Or just wait for a cloud, and make sure you have spot exposure on the A/C.
2. Shoot square side on, from quite a distance; say whatever fills the frame on max optical (not digital) zoom so you don't get distortion.
3. You want to see what's on the side of the A/C so slightly downward for a low wing (if you can stand on something):
and from below for the high-wingers:
If there are special markings, try to get up close to get detail:
Shoot the picture at max camera resolution for archive, usually though 1MB suffices for the repaint template.
