New TrackIR 4 Pro For Sale

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby lowellyerex » Thu Mar 08, 2007 9:31 am

Hi guys,

After reading and hearing rave reviews about the TrackIR system, I recently ordered one for myself. However, after trying it for a few days I am convinced that, although it's sort of cool, it's not something that I'm going use. In fact I find that I'm already turning it off and reverting to conventional view management.

I don't really want this expensive toy just sitting in the cupboard, so I'm putting up this post to see if any other keen simmer would like to buy it.

The unit is the TrackIR 4 Pro complete with vector clip and black cap. It is less than a week old.

New Zealand retailers, such as Spectronics, currently list this item for $340. If you buy it from the US, the best price you'll get (dependent on exchange rate) is $260.

I'm prepared to sell my new TrackIR 4 for $230, including postage to NZ address. Payment by bank deposit only.

If you're interested, please email me at lowellyerex@gmail.com

First in, first served.

Dave.

The benefits of internet at work and a lull in work load... not to mention the extra cash from 'working' Auckland Anninversary and Waitangi Day's ;)

Mphh - I thought "Nice of the guy to let the NZFF have a crack first", so I replied within 45 minutes and was told "Third in line"!!
Wonder if employers bother to monitor web surfing in work time, I'm told 95% of business emails that are not spam, are not work-related either

I have a Track IR4 Pro myself. It can be fun as hell sometimes and other it gets "boring" ( you move your head a tiny bit & your viewpoint moves heaps which gets a bit annoying.
