FS Economy

I signed up to FS Economy which looked like a really good programme to use alongside of the Low and Slow style of flying and gave a sense of purpose.

Then in the last couple of days I got this email!

Starbuck,

In a review of the logs it has come to our attention that you are creating assignments of excessive revenue outside the spirit of FSE.  I have recorded revenues of $246,852,065.00 in 3 flights.  This is completely unjustified and a tactic designed to take advantage of the FSE system.  The Board of Directors will not tolerate such action.

You have until June 20, 2006 to respond and explain your actions.  The logs I have can be made available to you if you request them.

If there is some other explaination of this then it will be taken into consideration.  Your cooperation in this matter is also taken into consideration.

I await your response.

I dont understand it? I only just understand how the FSEconomy proggy works but this email says I am cheating How? I emailed them back and got a equally rude response.
Just proves some people have high opinions of themselves, I am astounded yet not surprised this is happening.

It was a website thats designed to simulate a economy in Flightsim much like FS Passengers only in this you interact with over players renting planes fly assignments and earning virtual dollars. They have no Jets just small prop planes the biggest being the DC3 and PBY.
Sounded like a great little addition to the FS world until you read the Terms of Service and get snotty emails like that because there are so many flaws in the programme.
Some of the groups have got millions of dollars and hundreds of Aircraft yet I struggle to get a few bucks on each flight theses guys earn millions!
Worst is signing into the forum you have to completly drop you security level to get in and that we all know is a recipe for disaster.
They can keep it I dont like be chastised for a game!

I read this then went and looked up the site www.fseconomy.com, curiosity made me sign up and have a look at the forum. Looks pretty good so I asked to join but they insist you put your email address in the open forum, which as we all know means the spammer bots get your email.

Finally get this reply
