Is it cheating to land a big aircraft if you have set the payload to nothing and the fuel to only 10%? If not then I can manage to get a 777-300ER in successfully (used the Meljet one). Tried it a few times until I worked out the approach - drag it in just above the stall and just off the waves, drop it down right on the end of the runway and stand on the brakes - HARD :D Haven't worked out the multiplayer thing yet, but once (if) I do then I'll repeat the feat online. Lots of fun! Steve I drop my A320 50% payload and full fuel B)

Refresh: (I am afraid I use a German language version so I am not sure of the English names for things) go to the FS9 optins menu where you set the joystick commands and so on. Search through the list and look for the refresh aircraft command - there's one for refresh scenery too by the way. Allocate a new keyboard command for this (it's empty by default) I guess you know that from what you say though. It doesn't work all the time for me - there seem to be limitations as to when and where or what you are doing. Perhaps you have to be unpaused while refreshing. So if that...

Darn! I almost forgot! KiwiThunder has been uploaded to Avsim along with a couple of other paints I have done recently - just go to Avsim and go to the files library - search under my name - Chris Brisland - OK, so I have uploaded more than just the few skins shown here, but what the heck - a spot of "self plugging" doesn't hurt, no? ;) Or just search Kiwi Thunder... :D

I forgot about this download, and only just nabbed it today. .... But I notice the 'Stationair II' badge is sitting over the top of the SOUNDS AIR logo, unlike CN's shot #4 above. Anyone know how to remove this badge? Trolly, You can find the stationair logo in the texture file: "Carenado prop 206.bmp" Just paint over the logo with black and do the same for the alpha. I think CN didn't upload this because of the Carenado copyright rules. I really must check these out more often - I had a paint rejected because I sent all the files up to Avsim instead of just the...

Oh, you'll get smoke all right... just most likely white only. Another fun thing to do is to load up a. n. other plane and fly around the display as "Cam-plane".

If VOZ decides the AI is too hard, we'll survive. After all it's based on a compilation of existing packages - and I guess some may be old schedules by now. The RAAF AI pack (available AUSSIM) is prominent, but most of the stuff you're seeing on screen for the big airlines you can easily collect in 20 mins of surfing per airline and probably install in half an hour (per airline - not the lot!). I looked at the VOZ AI pack and yes, it's a great running start for a brand new FS install (despite loss of the Beech!) but all I got from it personally was one base model I...

Showoff! ;) Erm, my Saab's dashboard isn't as flash as yours. Seem to remember there was another on offer. On your website? Nope I tried out one from AVSIM by Horst Paetzold as he is quite a fan of our model so I thought I would pay back the complement his panel is under the filename hp_saab2000-panel.zip

Awesome pics mate - very nice :D I have that airport and Timaru scenery too, I carried out the instructions in the City Scenery as far as removing some of the airport files, but I get white square pillars around the airport. I have a feeling it's due to me not having the Gerrish Grey Trees installed, which brings me to a question it that's the case ... The read-me for the Gerrish trees v3 mentions finding and replacing up to 65 different textures, but the instructions are for FS2002. It seems a mammoth task and one I can't recall doing during my previous install when I had the...

Actually...I think we all forgot to compliment Andrew on his banner construction, which kept the "feel" of the shot very nicely. Makes a good intro to the site. (There, that's August done.)
