Talking about olden Times...and the year "2006".... Anyone remember the flight sim forum; "Simviation"... started by Pete Daly ? I jonined it in 2006, and have been a Member there ever since, popping in every day! It was the Lads in Simviation that dragged me kicking anf screaming into FSNZ in 2010, when a tour of the Australia and New Zealand Coast was organized, and took place, in Multiplayer... on line! The one thing that has always got me permanantlty attached to FSNZ is the "Chat" forum, where i can have fun with evey day! ...and dont forget the Motorcycle...

nice brock! Wellington looks great in fsx, I think its alll the lovely water and the reflections that really do it justice :P btw if your having trouble with the fsx menus tyou really shodul think about a RAM upgrade ;) It makes a marvolous differance with the fsx menus. and a gig of RAM is under a hundred dollars.. Charl, is this not something that could be fixed by adjusting the alpha channel on the paint? Not always possible, but the alpha channel is there to control the 'shine' on a lot of models. Just an idea :) Look at the Andover last friday walking across the ramp, chatting , mention the condition off the dull worn look , any LOW-VIS paint looks polished when completed for a couple of weeks MAX and thats it ! ..after .. they look dirty and meshy and well used (generally to last 5 yrs) , airliners have there big carwash's or at YSSY 2 people running around washin 74 in 2...

Hiya V_A_C. The Air NZ AI is just Project-AI. The Herc and Orions, are my own doing, and the Airfreight NZ CV-580s , Ansett Air Freight F27, NZ Post aircraft, AirNZ Freight DC-8 etc are part of my NZ Retro-AI project.  The other AI like Royal Tongan, Freedom Air, Air Calin (New Caledonia), Air Vanuatu, Ansett, Jetstar etc, are from a traffic set called "AI Traffic for the South Pacific", by Luis Felipe pech Pacheco. Had it for a few years now, and cant remember where i got it from, but the file name is "ai_southpacific.lfpp.zip". About 11.5mb zipped....

Go, Paul! I've also had the odd redeye with "just" trying to get that formation shot together. The pro's make it all look so easy don't they? And I guess that's part of their great skill in so doing B)

I usually compress to get a size, so I try to compress my jpeg's to around 100-150kb each, thats my 'secret' , you can't have good quality pictures if they are around 50kb. ;) Alex

Another in this dizzying series...was going to be in the March SS Competition but is the wrong shape :( The world-famous in New Zealand "Tandem Wingover" effect (Also didn't want anyone to notice this was taken before the wing Kiwis were pointed into the wind :ph43r: )

Nice screenie, nice model (although the wings look too thick?), and nice repaint... ...but the Kiwis, which look accurate, are facing the wrong way on the wings - beak forward, feet towards the fuselage is the way. Sorry for nitpicking ;) Just as a postscript, the author has released a fix for his textures, which now has the roundels properly orientated. Avsim = t6rnzaf2.zip Cheers Stewart

All default, but I did purposely hide the edge of Reno - that lanclass gets pretty ugly transitioning from city to desert.
