Its an ad-hoc collection of scenery ive been working on....the mesh for these screen shots was only processed the other day and covers the whole Rangitaiki plains......I really love Lidar data- you can see stop banks, old drainage patters, old dune systems etc across the plains...the flattening of the Whakatane airport shows up really well too.... The imagery is really nice but only covers the urban areas of Whakatane....That one little tile is about 130MB in FSX Hmm, thats the best use of 130MB I've seen for awhile :P

Thanks guys Other than the more detailed exterior from earlier versions the gauges are heaps smoother (almost like Realair A/C). The latest version isn't quite finshed yet and needs a bit more work in the VC before it is uploaded to Avsim and the like. This really is some of the best freeware - Peter Lohrs Queenstown, Robin's photoreal, the Chippy and the 75m mesh if that is what you have (although I have the 20m mesh). Cheers

The only reason I do any international flying ( not including Aus I normally only fly in NZ and AU ) is because of the busier airspace, The ATC controller ( Using radar contact ) was going berserk with 6 flights around me the whole time ( LH, 2X AF, Easy Jet, BA, And some British cargo airline)

...leads to paraphrasing something I got the other day: So there's this F16 hotshot, flying escort to a C130. F16: Think I'll do a little something to while away the hours... So he goes A/B vertical, up to 45,000 pulls over, screams down, Mach 1.8, 9g out the bottom, two 90's and barrel rolls out airbrakes open, back in line astern. F16: I'm BACK, whaddaya think about THAT! (OK you probably know what's coming..) C130: Think I'll do a little something to while away the hours... C130 drones on for 5 minutes C130: I'm BACK, whaddaya think about THAT! F16:...

is reinforce my dislike of the 'clipped wing' version of the spitfire... Same! The only freeware downloads of the Spitty I could find didn't have that loverly elliptical wing shape that my aeroplane heaven one does- but that is only a prototype and dosen't have a camo paintjob :(
