Go, Paul! I've also had the odd redeye with "just" trying to get that formation shot together. The pro's make it all look so easy don't they? And I guess that's part of their great skill in so doing B)

I usually compress to get a size, so I try to compress my jpeg's to around 100-150kb each, thats my 'secret' , you can't have good quality pictures if they are around 50kb. ;) Alex

Another in this dizzying series...was going to be in the March SS Competition but is the wrong shape :( The world-famous in New Zealand "Tandem Wingover" effect (Also didn't want anyone to notice this was taken before the wing Kiwis were pointed into the wind :ph43r: )

Nice screenie, nice model (although the wings look too thick?), and nice repaint... ...but the Kiwis, which look accurate, are facing the wrong way on the wings - beak forward, feet towards the fuselage is the way. Sorry for nitpicking ;) Just as a postscript, the author has released a fix for his textures, which now has the roundels properly orientated. Avsim = t6rnzaf2.zip Cheers Stewart

All default, but I did purposely hide the edge of Reno - that lanclass gets pretty ugly transitioning from city to desert.

haha thanks Charl! I've been reading that post, but can't for the life of me come up with anything to add. I either just don't think about aircraft I find unattractive, or the few I do know of people have mentioned. I'm with Trolly on the B1900, it's a love / hate relationship, and I only picked the nice angles :D

I may be mistaken, but I am fairly certain it was a mail ostensibly from you that turned out to be possibly a disgruntled ex NZFF forum user. Ah yes Cbris, I just remembered that incident. Yes, it seems "someone" likes to pretend to be me, and using my username in various mediums (e-mail, forums, multiplayer, FS-FBO) to try and discredit my name... pretty lame really. Anyhow, I'm not sure how that could affect the real me signing up to a forum, as my real email address had to be validated. It is understandable that this "someone" could have signed up, using my real...

Splended hinch :P The textures are nice yet from what I see in those screenies they seem to lack a dirty old worn sort of look, especialy for an aircraft of that age. Whats it like to fly?

The Baron is turbocharged so it maintains its performance up pretty high, to about 15000' I guess... And when you slow a jet up it has the same turning radius as something small. So we just configure at 160 kts or maybe less if theres cloud around and hand fly it in. Have you watched the 737's approaching up the Frankton arm in Queenstown for rwy 05? Same sort of thing, looks pretty cool.

By the way, Monkeybdg, I must sincerely apologise for my churlish behaviour. I entered this thread and commented on another reply, starting a sub-thread, but totally managed to ignore the fact that it was your post, which started it. Those are great shots of my "adopted" home country and they do (as all my flights over Greece do) make me just a wee bit homesick. Anyway, thanks to this thread here, I also found the new Greek simmers' site and like you, Monkeybdg, I joined. Thanks for the screenies and the lead!

I would normally never endorse a sun shot Yeah, that Real Enviroment Pro sun 'corona bmp' was too over the top for me, so I switched back to the default texture yesterday. Trolly is dipping the toe into rotorflight Yea, I have been flying the Whirlybirds quite a bit recently, they are so much fun to go exploring in once you get the hang of flying them, so I've been going all up, down and around the mountain crevices and glaciers in the South Island, but more recently, doing all the missions in them that come with the 'Glacier Bay v2' in Alaska. I think my flight in the...
