Talking about olden Times...and the year "2006".... Anyone remember the flight sim forum; "Simviation"... started by Pete Daly ? I jonined it in 2006, and have been a Member there ever since, popping in every day! It was the Lads in Simviation that dragged me kicking anf screaming into FSNZ in 2010, when a tour of the Australia and New Zealand Coast was organized, and took place, in Multiplayer... on line! The one thing that has always got me permanantlty attached to FSNZ is the "Chat" forum, where i can have fun with evey day! ...and dont forget the Motorcycle...

Wonderfull screens. As I know, very often virtual Airliner-Captains are not seeing the landscrape. They have to much to do... programming FMC, switching from screen to screen and "managing" the flight. I like it, to fly lower and slower and to see... Great work. I like it.

Um, I found it in a shed at Omaka...... /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> FlightSim, it's freeware, and comes with eight models/paints - bizarrely not including XH558! Will work to remedy that..... Got more pics to upload, but suffering from a housewarming hangover ATM, so maybe later in the day....

It began with Georender - do you know Georender? Yes, these wonderful small airfields near Seattle... I like all those scenerys with smal but interesting places and with flair. And yes, i use the FS 9.1 and have only small interest in the FS X. The FS 2004 is running good on my AMD 3,8 with 2GB RAM and a Nvidia 7600GS board. But for the FS X it is in my eyes not fast enough, even after the SP 1. I use it only to test something and to fly low and slow VFR and not with complex airliners. So I make my best with the FS 2004... and my installation is in this moment up to around 37 GB... I use...

QUOTE (Naki @ Oct 16 2007, 07:23 PM) Nice model, excellent scenery , great shots -welcome to NZFF! I use the ATR since 2004, since she is at the market. The livery you can find at avsim.com Filename: atr_72-500_origin_pacific.zip License: Freeware Added: 20th December 2004 Downloads: 466 Author: Laurent Lê Quan Tho Size: 3602kb It is a great aircraft to fly and now you can without costs update to FS X. But I use more the FS 2004 because my AMD 3,8 is not fast enough. But I think, there is much left to discover at FS 2004... Thanks for the friendly welcome.

Nice Trolly! I've done the flight once in real life, and a couple of times on the sim, so I enjoyed the flashbacks brought on by your shots. It certainly is a long way to go.

yep, well I didn't exactly make it difficult, did I now /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> What really, really surprised me is how easy it all is! Even an old knacker like me can do it! Although i do have some issues with the layering of different textures - sometimes the beaches are there and the city disappears, sometimes i get the city to show and the golf club vanishes... It's all about learning curves... Oh, and yes, they are static FSX objects. I still have to work out how to make some scenery libraries yet, but that...

If I'd had to choose, I would have gone for the most effective banner layout. Albatross' is spot-on. Maybe worth some thought when submitting a screenshot. Good point- I'll add that in for the rules for this months competition. Sorry for the delay, should be ready by tomorrow. Yes it does look great - don't forget to update the other skins! Been a bit busy- I'm about to do it now /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif />
