QUOTE (victor_alpha_charlie @ Feb 7 2008, 04:03 PM) I don't think we should turn Alister's post into another moaning thread. Perhaps we need to decide, once and for all, with a poll. No but there are flightsim concepts worth exploring further in a reasonable discussion. I actually meant to say: We've chewed this to death, Trolly is responsible for doing the screenshot contest, has decided what is going to happen, so that's the end of it. And what a brilliant outcome to the discussion this month's SS contest is! See, it's not what you know, it's...

Seeing there has been so much speculation over the editing topic, I have decided to cancel this competition thread and open a new one that will run until this time next month. Sorry to all those who have previously entered, but once you see what the new prize is that we are offering, I don't think you will mind anymore ;)

QUOTE And the reply to TROLLY asking if i fly the whole 12hour leg? Yup mate i sure do...well kinda. I do the full take off and manually fly her to transition Alt 180k and then slap her on Autopilot untill the T/D where i would normally go away or sleep and check on her everynow and then to check fuel consumption and recal checks. as for that the sim will pause at T/D and i can come back to it where i normally fly a percision approch. i get a real satisfied kick out of i guess. Totally understandable, I did exactly the same thing here: ;)

Jeepers guys - the hills around here are going to start looking real green with all the Fert you guys are spreading. Yep nothing like some low level flying with a purpose !! Thanks for the positive words - a few bugs to iron out but otherwise the model is working out well. Deane

Alister, If hes only get around 15 on average- Hes much better leaving it at that. Having a higher FPS setting than you PC averagely makes, makes the CPU work harder to reach that Frame Rate- rather than loading ground texture. :) Very Nice- Looking forward to the PMDG NG 2.0 :D
