Talking about olden Times...and the year "2006".... Anyone remember the flight sim forum; "Simviation"... started by Pete Daly ? I jonined it in 2006, and have been a Member there ever since, popping in every day! It was the Lads in Simviation that dragged me kicking anf screaming into FSNZ in 2010, when a tour of the Australia and New Zealand Coast was organized, and took place, in Multiplayer... on line! The one thing that has always got me permanantlty attached to FSNZ is the "Chat" forum, where i can have fun with evey day! ...and dont forget the Motorcycle...

Thank ya! I will admit, the King Air 200 that you see a bit of in the video (AFG's excellent freeware model) has done wonders in rekindling my interest in General Aviation type aircraft. Until I downloaded that one, I mainly stuck to military aircraft, namely fighters. The detail and realism in the AFG King Air are such that I love flying it, and on many a flight sim I will take it up instead of a fighter jet just to better enjoy the scenery. One of other reasons I like it so much is that when I use Active Camera, I can get a much better passenger's eye view of the flight than the...

Yeah it was very tight for the Fokker. Usually enough for the trip to Norfolk one approach and back to Kaitaia if unable to land.

Missed this thread before, but it was a treat to see those shots-- I was amazed how much better the default textures look when they are placed where they should be. Waiting with bated breath...

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Dec 9 2009, 01:49 AM) Interest sake , do they work over photo real city areas or these will cover then up till , example over RealNZSuper City or even your photoreal scenery . Yes they should work /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Placed objects (including effects such as these), freeway traffic and bridges all are visible even if covered by photoreal if my memory serves correctly.
