Yes! There's been something of an avalanche in the last while: payware now freeware, re-releases missed prior, and some new gems... I have 27 zipfiles awaiting my attention! Actually that's what started the Augusta thought: The Italians don't mess around, they just call it a VIP transport, and cruise off reading Le Figaro on kid leather seats - wait - that's a Pizza Menu /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif />

I have trackir and can not imagine FSXing without it. I have yet to have a serious try at flying a chopper though. The few times I did manage to give one a quick try it never ended (or even begun) well .... After looking at your screen shots I am tempted to do some more crash landings to see if I can get it right once.

QUOTE (Chairman @ May 18 2010, 02:09 AM) Kind of appropriate that one of them disappeared without trace then ! /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> I reckon the Aussies nicked one ... after all, they've nicked just about everything else! /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />

Thanks Splitpin, been kept busy lately selling photo prints and other items on TradeMe. Also have a dive article to complete. Still been having a squizz at NZFF when I get a chance. Haven't had a chance to fly that CS767 for a couple of weeks though. /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> Once I get my hands on this a/c though /drool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= drool.gif />

It's FS9, I think I did get it installed in FSX (scenery) but I enjoy 9 as it's smoother. QUOTE (Timmo @ May 14 2010, 05:39 PM) haha, just remember though that the shots showing any errors aren't getting shown around here /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> They go onto my bug list for rectification....so while it may look ready for release, there are still lots of odds and ends to tidy up. /New_Zealand_etc.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= >nzflag< border= 0 alt= New_Zealand_etc.gif /> He's not kidding. Which reminds me, I promised a shot of Milford airport, but first I need to get it tweaked a bit...

Great shots!! It proves that there is some life left in the old gal yet!! I too won't be moving from the FS9 platform just yet either. I've spent far too many years getting my simpit hardware setup to run correctly with FS9 and I also have many payware addons that I use with the simpit that haven't been migrated to FSX yet. And as SplitPin points out, I've got all the settings maxed out and go online for VatSim and multiplayer and I still have heaps of resource overheads left to burn (Well, until I get my new Matrox TripleHead2Go setup next month that...

QUOTE (Splitpin @ May 10 2010, 11:41 PM) This was a snap of one the first payware aircraft and scenery addons i used for 2002. The moth was from a guy in the states (cant remember his name) but he did great stuff, moths, cubs, ryans etc. It was Bill Lyons..wish I had pictures from my 2002 days to compare but I didn't take them back then My first payware aircraft was the Dreamfleet Piper Archer 11...my first payware scenery didnt happen untill FS2004 and that was RealNZ Tauranga/Rotorua..and I think my very first addon I put on my flight sim was a freeware SA Bulldog from PSS

QUOTE (happytraveller @ May 4 2010, 09:29 PM) Very nice screenshot, lovely composition and very sharp. Full marks! Ye - I almost did a double take. Even the tower looks like a real life collage. I *hate* choppers (runs for cover /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />) ... but it's a great shot!
