Looks like fun! /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Sean....it all started one night when i had a vodka or two with my russian flatmate, who is fast becomeing a simmer . QUOTE (Naki @ Aug 23 2010, 11:44 AM) I was lucky to catch the A42 Beriev at the Auckland Air Show n the 90s ...misssed the landing on the harbour. Pretty impressive ..but I remember it had pretty bald tyres..I guess they weren't needed too much /rolleyes.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= rolleyes.gif /> I was up on Bastion point when it landed, taxied around and took off,..amazing sight and sound. Quite unusual hearing big jet engines spooling up in the middle of the Waitamata Harbour !. Id love an Albatros for FSX /drool.gif style=...

QUOTE (Charl @ Aug 18 2010, 08:41 PM) Funny you say that...as I was scrolling through the shots I thought: "She's not bad for an old lady of 30+". Great shot there - co-incidentally I had a little fly with EML last week. Bloody good model, too. It is indeed....nothing like home grown. Cant wait for the Cresco /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> Thanks for looking Charl....

QUOTE (Splitpin @ Jul 23 2010, 08:03 PM) I did .....its great, a little frame rate hungry for me at the moment, but very nice....cheers shadow /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> I've noticed it's heaviest frame rate hit is oddly enough in the 2D panel - once you've moved onto the virtual cockpit, tower view, or spot view your frame rate goes up noticeably.

Thanks Markus......i guess Im just an old Alpha fan.Their stuff was some of the first addons i ever purchased. I know they have had a few, that havent quite made the grade(but thats just me talking) but overall they have contributed a lot the hobby, and yes, the returning some to freeware is great (Iris as well) I agree with your panel comments (alpha) some are very "cartoon" like.....but for me....its the externals i enjoy, mainly for screenshots. I guess Im not a real simmer (in the flying sense) anymore, at the moment anyway....Im just building a collection of f/s art i suppose...
