Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

QUOTE (Adamski @ Feb 8 2012,6:58 PM) Yes (thanks!) ... it's here on the repaint thread . It was fun doing it! P.S. Just a thought ... your dawn shot may look better at 1280px ... as it might push out more of the surrounding white (outside the pic). Ideally, you'd want it to fill the whole screen - as it does when you're in FS! Cool I had been keeping an eye on that thread but not looked today. The 1280px is worth a go thanks /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

QUOTE (Olderndirt @ Feb 7 2012,2:41 PM) Been playing with CS5 to get a believable landing splash with the SeaBee. Obviously a work still in progress. It is disappointing the water effects both aircraft and the general ocean effect , what you have done looks very impressive ! /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Superb - as always /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> You and I have the same tastes in period/aircraft. Put Duxford on your list too if you want to see the only surviving example of the TSR2 - ( Ooops - i forgot the other one at RAF Cosford ) AND if you haven't got a copy already I thoroughly recommend you read "Empire of the Clouds" by James Hamilton-Patterson. Its engaging and very well written - a mine of anecdotes and information about the post-war British aviation industry - its rise and fall. Cant recommend it...
