Starting to look a bit damp around the place :D Actually it's only shin-deep in my yard, looks worse than it is. It will probly get to knee-deep. Top centre you can see Tony-next-door's white ute, beside my Forester and Barina, across in the old rail yard.

Thank you Marty Also, by altering the wave heights( I have a pre-set for higher waves ) that adds a whole new cloud set Well as you say, live and learn: I've never seen that, always added wind for more waves!

That’s a bloody good effort. Yeah general short field landing technique for most aircraft is to dump the flap as soon as possible after touchdown and get weight on wheels for best braking action.

I just loved the notification that if you pulled the emergency brake chain without authority, you would be in BIG Trouble :) JK what is that wooden structure the notices are attached to? those are the roof beams, my 'cave' ,as my wife calls it, is in the attic...

You could announce that thing as a possible project for 2030 and it would be gobsmacking. Good shot, Aerofly again showing it knows about cities.

That is the update of which I speak - downloaded 10 days ago. It may be that one or other tree scaling package could be the cause, be good to hear if everyone sees this.

It's a big place alright - AFS doesn't have photogrammetry, but their autogen is well aligned with the street layout, and all the buildings are lit, so anyone can get these nice effects. Thanks for looking

The trouble with Bing imagery is that it is horrible in parts. Here's a comparison showing what I want compared to what I see with Bing. The top image shows the new photo scenery I made for 2024, but here I've dropped it into FS2020, where it works. The other image is FS2024 with default Bing imagery. Note that the FS2020 shot is kind of a mock-up, being a combination of the old released airport, and the new aerial background. However even the old image in 2020 was a lot better than Bing.

I would love to post my screenshots in NZFF, but NZFF doesn't have photo storage facilities on their Website....unlike my regular copy "Simviation", which has its on-site storage for our screenshots in their menus! Evening, Paul. If you can view your pics on simviation, you should be able to copy a link and paste it into your post on NZFF. You could also try pasting it between two tags, but using square brackets, not the curly ones I show here: {img}this is Pauls pic from simviation{/img} If I had used square brackets the forum would be trying to find an image with that name....

That was a very elegant design for its time...would still look good today with a little modernisation. Just my opinion. :)

Marty - I have been trying to establish just what we are seeing in my ASF4, in terms of NZ scenery. As I thought the airfields are the conversions from the AFS2 FSCloudport ones. They have a distinctive 'look' which you can see in this pic of Whenuapai. The misalignment is produced by errors in the original FSC file. After clearing some duplicate files, I took a run from Welly up to PP and discovered this horror. I posted an AFS2 screenie which showed it, so it probably pre-dates the GeoffKiwi mesh add-on. I was surprised to see it rear its ugly head again in AFS4 and set that problem aside...

LOL .. they're all classics. Who knows tho, maybe that IS REALITY and all this regularly shaped in focus stuff we've gotten used to in "real life" is all a facade :D
