Lovely! Many thanks ... will get cracking on June's banner! EDIT: I have the banner worked up using the last pic. A 1920px version would be great! ...

Thanks for the tip. Looking back, I can't say why I "left out" this simulation.

The old brown-green paint had its advantages over its better-known successor. Somewhere, which has not been available here in Germany for a long time, I still have a book about RAF camouflage schemes from 1939-1960. Something like that is no longer produced today and the current generation no longer builds models.

It's a shame what has become of so many such proud, elegant birds. Drug dealers buy them, fly them low over the US border, unload them and leave them behind.

I really do prefer the Hurricane to the Spitfire. The Hurricane was a more adaptable aircraft. The Hurricane with the twelve gun wing, the IIC, IID and the Mk.IV. The Hurricane night fighters worked in conjunction with Turbinlite Douglas Bostons/Havocs..which wasn't overly successful.

Super! How many "big chin" Spits were produced? I had not seen pictures of one until recently.

Visually there's nothing wrong with it, but the flight model doesn't really fit a 20t helicopter. It's too agile and it's difficult to fly it. Mr. Diehl's other version has the better flight model, but doesn't look as good.
