Marty... You will have to try some of this "low and slow" stuff for a change... It's what gets me out of bed every morning, all excited, to take to the skies in my Ultralights, with a cup of coffee in one hand, and my trusty Thrustmaster X Joystick in my other hand, flying hat and goggles, to explore the breathtaking scenery below me! It's what flight simming is all about! :D ... :D ...! Fun Stuff! Paul... :uk: up in the air with my garden birds... :plane: ... ...!

Charl, yes, the AC-130J is only Special Ops. Used for armed reconnaisance, close air support and battlefield air interdiction...although I can't see the difference between the first two.

Mike, she will look better after a good bath and a few days off  Is that a default paint for the model ?.I don't remember seeing it before. Marty, it was a repaint done by a community member. I have found the zip file, but there was no readme, and of course flight-sim.org is gone now. I'll see if there is a reference in the main IPACS forum. :( EDIT No luck there, either.

Thanks for looking gents. Charl...I don't know what causes that, it also shows up around the engine intakes (if we are talking about the same thing) ...could be the model ? Adam, for me the 747 is an enigma...a larger than life good looking presence on the ground and so ...as you said...graceful airborne.
