Just a heads-up: While the SibWings An-2 sadly isn't available anymore, there are still some hidden gems out there. For example, ORBX has a Freeware section that's often overlooked – I just picked up a lovely C-119 from there, which I used to fly years ago. Worth checking, even if the An-2 isn't listed. If I come across a solid An-2 for P3D that's still legally obtainable, I’ll let you know. Would be great to see that beast in the sim again. I'm also rebuilding my P3D setup these days – so I'm on the hunt myself.

Heinkel He 111 – More Than Just a Bomber: My Experience on the Anapa–Bagerovo Route In the Great Battles series by Sturmovik, I often flew the He 111 as it might have been used in September 1943 during the evacuation of the Taman Peninsula to the Crimea. The retreat of the German Wehrmacht’s 17th Army from the Caucasus was the last organized German withdrawal without chaos. What many don’t know is that the He 111 also served as a transport aircraft. It carried troops, supplies, and wounded over the relatively short distance from Anapa to Bagerovo. I personally flew this route in the...

I don't really know why the He 111 is being celebrated so much at the moment. The model is undoubtedly good and easy to fly. It is certainly easier to fly than the replica of the ‘Sturmovik’ Great Battles series. It is interesting that the shape of the He 111 benefited from the attempt in Germany to draw constructive solutions from the well-known Lockheed Orion.

I have both models, the freighter and the passenger version, here and I love them. But I have to admit that after many flights with the Boeing 737-700NG it seemed a bit strange to me, despite using the various models of the 727 since FS 2004, grin.

Yaaaaahhhhh Yaaahhhhhh Yahhhhhhhhh I grew up with those planes!! That plane was one of major reasons why Israel's existence was saved during Yom Kippur war. Many thanks for your very kind post containing IAF plane. I believe some Israeli F-4Es were first planes in Israeli air force history to have painted shark teeth. One of famous comments on that IAF plane is that it could carry THREE TIMES more bomb load than B-17 Flying Fortress!! BTW, IAF did have three B-17 Flying Fortresses used extensively in 1948 War Of Independence. Three out of all F-4Es in entire Israeli Air Force fleet were...

What a beast.....JK, are there any other War Thunder models around that would work in msfs ? If someone converts them, why not? I have a Mirage2000 that originated in war thunder, a B-26 Marauder as well. Instruments don't always work, but I'm an outside man anyway...

It amazes me that the pilots were able to work those panels with gloved hands.
