Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

Consider the mesh required to correctly model the lake, river below, and the dam wall itself. That was an issue Peter Lohr hooked into doing Queenstown and the Lake region, sometime it can be a real juggling act but as shown above in that scene the effort is well worth it ... imagine a more recent photo under-lay'd onto that scenery! .

The Mach Loop actually has no connection with The Dambusters. Their training areas were the Derwent Valley in the Midlands, and later, the Elan Valley in Wales

Thanks, Ian ... Yep, back then the cloud 9 F-4 was today's Milviz version. Still, have it tucked away some place. I have doing a lot of Spooky Stuff today myself, posting shortly B-) The old ...and newer Razbam stuff was good as well. The Skyhawk collection they did was huge. A lot of the RAZBAM is superb, the A-4 dose hold its own in FS9 , I never did finish my 1987 'Golden Skyhawk' paint tho still have it , one of those tricky templates.

Lovely shots Marty...! Very realistic! One of the reasons why I love my little Cessna 150 Aerobat.... ...its the nose-wheel! I can see where I am going when I'm on the ground! ...just watch out for Gopher/Rabbit holes when not on a hard runway!.... ....! Paul....Rabbit Stew.... :D ...!

Agree ... the French do have a way with design, love it or hate it. I've owned a couple of French cars , and they were ... well , ... French. Great shot Bug master

Cheers Marty :) I better make another post, it is a serious Frame rate hitter if one dose not use the configuration setup and course the other areas, I have tried it on both FSX and P3D, I'm seriously lagging in the heavies in P3D tho found the JUSTFLIGHT Tristar is superb , the DC-10 , I'll need a word to get that sorted to suit P3DV3 or later. The one thing I really did like was the controlled setup were ATC gets you to land on runway 07 , that happened on my first Trans Tasman flight , I don't simply go to the scenery , I prefer to fly into it just to get a feel for it .. the thing I do .....

places like KeriKeri (NZKK) or Kaitaia (NZKT), might be worth thinking about? That's is a thought, looking through the NZ scenery Mike AKA: 'Creator' did a little package with NZKK and four other small NZ airfields , NZTT, TT, WP, WU and RA .. I'll check these against VLC , I did not see these released , add the photo-real package , best I search for that , lets really invite the other side of the world to New Zealand ! :)
