Thanks for looking. Re the GPS, I'm not sure sorry ....there is an option to download a third party one. I spend most of my time outside the cockpit looking in.

Thanks Marty, that's Airshow Assistant. The first ones are done by recording/replaying using FCR. For some reason it sees fit to levitate the planes a little on replay. Might just be the taildragger model, but really, a buggy payware fix to an intrinsic bug in the sim?

It is admirable that they make the effort to keep these aircraft, such as the DC 6, operational, competitive and profitable, and to train young people to keep them in service. I really like these pictures. I don't fly ‘my’ DC 6 often enough.

I like this thing. It also appears repeatedly in flight simulations, and rightly so.

Go on and make one Marty, you know you really want to :) My understanding is that pre-Covid, international travel would have been capped by airport time slot availability. The A380 aimed to improve airport throughput within that constraint. The 9000 I believe was a step in the evolution of the design, as air traffic outgrew the base model, and airports adapted to the larger peak loading. Who knows what the post-pandemic world will look like, long term? Emirates are still betting on huge growth: at DXB they can turn around an A380 in 90 minutes,
