Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

The thing i found hard was , downloading all the variants , but forgetting the base model , and trying to figure out what the hell I had done. DC-10's are pretty good as well  That's the tough part, getting all the right base models, panels and sounds to fit each livery, and some of the newer models if the panel isnt right the airplane does not fly right. Though the forums there are pretty damn good at providing all the information to sort out what model/panel/sound combo goes, then with the likes of the DC-9 the paints for each series will go on any of the models basically

You want to change the reg to VH-FKO as that is the reg of the NZ stationed Alliance f 50 Yeah I know! But how do you do that? I don't have the Carenado F50 so don't know how hard it would be to change that reg number but looking at the Carenado B200 it should be reasonably easy to change the reg number. I have had the Virtualcol F50 since it came out about 3 years ago and it was quite easy to change the reg numbers

There is a lot of nonsense fabricated from english-speaking Media. Look at his own book. and not what others have written over him.

Thanks for looking gents ...and Adam :P Mike , Im not sure , but there was some kind of mechanism in the cockpit linked to the gun. This is option available in the mission planning part of the sim (over wing Lewis gun) , so Im just assuming its correct. Its also an option on some of the German types , but referred to as a "trophy" Lewis ....again , Im at the mercy of the sim. But Im sure there are those among us who will clarify this ...but in the meantime ... enjoy.

Adamovitch ....didnt work , but thats ok , will do a walk around and see what i can do. You may have noticed that my P3DV4 is working ...kind of , thanks to your suggestion to rename the config file . Called it "dog nuts" , and away it went.... how does that work ?? It forces P3D to rebuild a new .cfg file from a copy of the default. You need then to re-add your preferences from within P3D itself. There's precious little reason to edit the file manually (not like in FSX)! Adam.
