@Adamski I find this dragging nose wheel and the heavy braking required to roll around a bend annoying. I've experienced this with some aircraft, and I don't think you have to like it. The Russian YAk 52 doesn't have this, and I certainly don't understand what flight students are supposed to learn from it.

That was an interesting thing... Even with the little Robinson R66, I found it difficult to do it neatly.

All superb shots of types that i really like. As an aside, the Royal Air Force originally named their RC-135s Air Seeker although I believe that may have been dropped and the type is simply knownas the RC-135.

Great Battles from the Sturmovik team is comparable in fidelity to DCS, only set in the WWI/WWII era. 100 hours? Experienced sim pilots will need less time, but there is definitely a learning curve — and some quirks you won’t forgive on your first sorties. The Bf 109 is brilliant but also unforgiving: mistreat the engine and you’ll quickly be in trouble, it shares many of the real‑aircraft idiosyncrasies. The undercarriage is fairly fragile — a hard landing on one wheel can lead to gear collapse, wing damage and, with a bit of bad luck, a flip or nose‑over. The Ju 87 is a solid, purpose‑built...

Thanks Marty, the shots are a little squished by being erm, squished, but you get the idea. Such a refreshing thing to find, when there's not much in the world that wants to uplift the spirit.

Well, if you draw a comparison with Vietnam... it was ‘David versus Goliath’. The Vietnamese Air Force never had more than 100 aircraft during the war, and of those, there were rarely more than 30 MiG 21s. The rest were MiG 17s or Chinese replicas and other aircraft up to the An 2.

After all that flying in the Visionjet and the Citation 3+, it was time to fly the old-fashioned way again...

I just got back from a nice trip... Berlin-Cairo-Bahrain-Seeb/Masquat-Mumbai-Male. On the Cessna Citation 3+ (Toliss) For the ‘35th anniversary of reunification,’ I didn't want to be in Germany, at least not virtually. A widespread sentiment these days.

The model is from Inibuild and was released last week. The paint scheme, as well as that of the other aircraft in the other post, is from turtletank and can be found at Flightsim.to. I hope that other repainters will also give this model a chance. This aircraft has certainly found its buyers and enjoyed a long service life. The last one was only decommissioned in 2024. A total of 182 aircraft were built.

Wicked... what's that thingamy protruding on the LHS of the HUD? I think its part of the HUD , hard to find images of the area behind the HUD.
