At the time, they were a nightmare for us here in East Germany, because it was only with the MiG 29 that we had an aircraft that the F-14 couldn't just eat up for breakfast. But the Phoenix air-to-air missile and much better radar made us look old. That only changed when the Soviets introduced the Sukhoi Su 27.

This why I won’t be entering the screenshot contest. The competition is at a professional level. Well done. Superb pics Bug.
