Hello Michael :D I think I've cracked it ! These screenies show the AFS4 beta with Michael (IZ0JUB)'s AFS2 Brisbane Extra images, and the file structure I am using. The image files are directly in the oc_au folder, and there is no 'images' folder. Compare with the pics in this post on the IPACS forum: Cheers, Mike

It's a 29, there is no 35 in Warthunder, so some of the WT painters add a skin to simulate another version. The physical differences are minimal (sim-wise) and most of those seem to fit. The SMT has just been added to the Russian page, but personally, I don't like the bulge on the back...so you won't see that here from me. Thanks for looking.

Not sure what I did, if I did, but should be back presumably as it was! Thankyou, Charl - looks fine now. I suspect something at the Flickr end, given that the only image I could see was from PostImage. I tried the "Reply with Quote" trick which showed the other links were all Flickr.

radical, but not wrong. Ah the (Twin-engined) Flankers set out to prove this definitely wrong. At one point it seemed that these things were set to self-destruct at every airshow. And of course Youtube was on hand, some examples Paris Poland And of course the Sknyliv Disaster which killed 78 spectators

The P-40 Tomahawk/ Kittyhawk/ Warhawk... an often overlooked fighter. It's one of my favorite WW2 aircraft.

The MiG 21 at the end of its useful life was abolished in Russia by Boris Yeltsin himself, who abolished all single-engine fighters and fighter-bombers with the stroke of a pen after a series of accidents due to engine failure.

Thanks for the comments, gents. Finding the strip must be a mission in itself. You bet. Those guys must have acute situational awareness. In the sim it's potentially harder to do, I just flew to the pond (in the clip at 1:50) and turned finals there. Because the strip is seriously uphill, your perspective is wrong and you easily go in too low. I confess there was wreckage 100m short a couple of times. Also I suspect the model does not provide reverse thrust which would help a whole lot on grass!
