That would place you August 1956 and supplies were dropping close to a hut called Malte Burn on that namesake , the range which opposite and divides the glacier to Mt Cook , two aircraft flew in , Beaver and Auster , that one the Auster got broken on the glacier , damage was fixed done in ten days but i have no point or position for the hut .

QUOTE (dart15 @ Feb 3 2012,7:38 PM) mmm.... given the limited combat radius of the Me109 operating out of NW France - allowing no more than 20mins dogfighting over SE England - it seems highly implausible that one would be capable of crossing the entire breadth of England and Wales, let alone then managing to cross the Irish Sea!! Oi tink dis one kissed t' Blarney Stone to be sure! Reading the comments on the site where the film was posted, it appears that the makers took great liberties as far as "realism" is concerned - but I think justify it, saying that...

QUOTE (deeknow @ Jan 26 2012,6:39 PM) Awesome Andrew, you've solved the riddle, came home and my wife said ... "a remote controlled jet flew over Dinsdale and looked out of control and dangerously low" /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> I can see why one might have thought they saw a remote controlled jet because if you blinked, it was a dot in the sky. The noise it made however (though music to my ears) was not your tipical wine from a model jet. More like a thunderous roar!! /rolleyes.gif style=...

QUOTE (edbee @ Jan 26 2012,12:46 PM) They were not showing a great deal of sensitivity. Eventually it seemed that the old girl was going to a new owner at Bankstown but nothing happened, do you have any update on that? I contact him and get an update , they move it around the field every year , seems people may be getting weary of it , corrosion can be fixed step by step and requires the dedication , sure they must have a good team working on it least i hope so .

Massive thread continuity: Answer: None! A weight savings of approximately 5,000 pounds (2,270 kg) was achieved in the wing by using new aluminum alloys, which offset the weight increase of the wing tip extension and winglet Keeping with the theme (and no answers accepted before 2015): How many passengers has the B747 carried? a) A quarter of the world's population b) Half of the world's population c) The population of China d) The population of Timaru?

Thanks for the heads up Pete and Timbo; very much appreciated. @ Ian: Within the Fiordland area alone there are 115+ DoC Huts, at least half of these are easily accessible by floatplane/amphibian. Have visited more than 20 huts during my tramping days in the area (and, more recently, honeymooned at the L. Hauroko hut).

I would be interested in the response to this question aswell. I am running a 560ti and it runs very well except with large quantities of clouds the frames drop off somewhat and the dreaded micro stutter creaps in. This happens with an up to date modded cfg file.
