Hi Ian Thanks - I will post some photos and contact some of the commercial sites. And I might have to increase my understanding of FSX customising options. Cheers

Brilliant, thanks Sean. The only bird I still use now without a VC is Derek Palmer's Dove, which is still just so exceptionally good you can overlook this one downside. The 2D panel views were photoreal and very VC-like anyway but as you say, under FSX you only get the front view. Definitely worth having a tinker to see if the full experience can be restored! Cheers /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> Ade

Regarding the Caravelle, AlliedFSGroup (AFG) released one (non-vc) for FS9 a few years ago, but that's the only one that ever appeared I believe.

QUOTE (nz401 @ Sep 5 2012,11:04 AM) Fozzer, you have it in one. I don't know why Fsnav went belly up. I think that Ian has it though, I must get a bit serious about international and IFR flying and do it the hard way.. /angry.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= angry.gif /> I will still keep Fs9 on the hard drive for those moments when I just want to have fun /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Regs Craig... Cheers Craig... /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> ...!...

QUOTE (Kelvinr @ Sep 1 2012,11:07 AM) It would be good though to have things like nav aids, magnetic variation, and weather be updated as these are variable over time. Weather is a primary , in Canterbury we get winds that decide the fate of a flight , the famous North/West wind , it fans and fuels people to even in recent years having a triple7 circling wonder which runway to land on , can P3D have extreme weather in which requires landing instead of default 02/20 to change to 29/11 at the change in real world weather ? and AI to follow the weather pattern .

QUOTE (cowpatz @ Aug 29 2012,5:47 PM) If you can coerce a designer into doing it then go for it....but it has to be P3D compatible Ian /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> FSX is dead. FSX is the start , then can be P3Ded , first to find someone who wants the go at it .
