QUOTE (Splitpin @ Jun 4 2013,7:22 PM) Not sure what you mean there I.W , i go back to some of my old posts .... Idea of desk top flight sim ... you have the opportunity to try everything rather than plan meat and veg .. or ya regular KFC , Fly a Harrier ... or the Concorde of just recent ... to a Vulcan thru the valleys or a swap into a F-111 ... little different from your run out to the airport and jump in a GA type , that's what i mean /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> I was going to go Fictional aircraft (models, not repaints) but the...

I think I beat you to it. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> If they really will put the extra effort into this "HIFI Simulation Series" concept, it could be pretty good.

Just remember that google tends to use the 'best' rather than newest imagery in google maps- in google earth you can view Historical imagery' which usually includes newer imagery (but of lower quality).

Hi Guys, Been a while, damn babies gettin in my way.... One of the guys developing this aircraft was at the Flair aviation expo in Te Kowai, Hamilton in 2011 just before Max Clear passed away. He did a presentaion about this aircraft and the company. The guy had previously worked for NASA and is definatly thinking outside the box. Every single surface of the synergy aircraft is laminar flow, even the fuslage which makes it extremely low drag. I remember walking away from the presentation feeling quite wowed by it, however that was his aim. They are looking for investors after all.

Surely not too far down the track Ian, given the commercial value in flight simulation and what Outerra can offer in terms of visuals it would be only a matter of time before it took off (pun intended). @Doug - due to the many differences in technology used in Outerra I don't think it could be used in FSX, it's a different platform all together, but perhaps the model importing could provide a use when it comes to importing models from FSX later on assuming this does not go against any terms and conditions of use.

Thanks guys Hopefully in the next few weeks the front nose section will be complete and in place, will post pics as soon as it's done. Instrument panel shouldn't take to long to build and then paint job wire her up and lift off (all bet it from the safety of the garage) if your in the neighborhood drop in /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> Cheers Rhys

QUOTE (SUBS17 @ May 10 2013,12:37 PM) No it sounds like the F-16s that did a strike during desert storm against Baghdad and had sams launched at them. That was part of the recording done - the full 53 minute record has been removed or least never was not posted on UTube , this was well after the 1991 - this dates 1993 maybe 94 , It was the extended footage that brought "Storming Norman" saying "hey it will bite ya in the butt !" ... He also mentioned they should have kept going but he was Military .. ..... in come the public tree hugger's and rego's...

QUOTE (argosynz @ May 5 2013,1:16 AM) Ok thanks for that. I looked on fly engravity site and it sorta works out cheaper in nzd ti get a full cockpit setup which is roughly around 15000 nzd and jetmax with overhead is around 12000nzd but no fo side with jetmax If you do end up going down the engravity track, let me know. We buy engravity stuff at work, and could probably broker a deal with Robert for you /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> I can also take photos for you of the finished product (I'm in Miami about to install one right...
