The problem I was having was the forum had to load from the HTML page of photobucket, sometimes it never showed up - well for me anyway?? No worries now though have made the change to imageshack. Seems all OK. Thanks again for the assist.

I agree with you gojo, people seem to spend far too much time finding the faults with a product rather than being thankful for what the product is, e.g who gives a cr@p that wingflex is out by 5 deg!

^^ Right on And the current batch of video games are coming out aiming for 60fps (Battlefield 4 for example) /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> I run 60fps on FS9 and FSX, and let the game drag me down from there (all depends on weather, type of plane, complexity of airports etc) Check this out, a nice little demo for higher frame rates. (and note the Peter Jackson quote at the bottom of that page)

I can understand the mood in Auckland at Avsim, there's certainly been plenty of discussion over there on the next big thing, but not much actual result. Still, we definitely do need a new sim, so I'd certainly support something new. However I do agree with some of the points at Avsim, in particular: Any replacement for FSX would need to at least match the existing features; Using a modern rendering method to free up the CPU is necessary; Allowi\ng third party developers would keep me in work for a while; MSFS didn't just appear as FS2004 or FSX: it has been growing for 20...
