Last year I changed over to P3D, I did run into problems and with Help its all up and running great. As you will notice its very similar to FSX in the layout. I only found 2 aircraft that I thought they were only ok and have gone to Carando for a replacement. I do still think FSX is really good but you will find a difference with P3D.

It seriously dose affect people in different ways , with me its water, the ocean and rivers I do not go near - totally keep away but have a fascination with warships ... earthquakes I'm lucky here as my place is almost modulated and wobbles with the flow .. the structure dose not have a heavy roof , best way off looking at it people don't like air turbulence , it really is near the same feeling. As for your young daughter ... Fire scares everyone , outside you may feel one could control it least I would give it a go .. BUT inside "Fire scares everyone" .

I have a couple of cracker jokes ... couple girls walk past ... I simply said to them "Some Bastard stole me bloody engine" ... works on others as well , other one that had people scratching their heads and others said "Really" some people - most laughing their heads off , "I'm bringing in my crop, Its my weed man " :D

...it suffers from one the major sins as far as I'm concerned -- no shadows. I know that the 'elite' have always shunned shadows from the FSX days, but with Prepar3D it is throwing away one of the most important visual aspects. The AI aircraft tend to 'hang' on the ground, with no real visual cue to link them to the ground... Well said. There's a field of study waiting, I guess, for "what you are prepared to put up with in your sim". It has to do with expectation and how well you are able to BS yourself. Epic Realism is not available in any sim to date, and the entire FSX (and to...

Don't think the original poster was looking for promotions of your VA to be honest. If you want to do that feel free to start your own thread, and hopefully it doesnt turn into a my-va-is-better-than-yours thing :wink2:

I got mine early last week, what a stunning publication. It's one thing to see Gavin's photos on your phone or monitor but quite another to have hard copies. The pilot's notes are a delight but the photos...stunning really is the only word I can use. A must-buy for anyone into warbirds. :gavin:
