I can imagine that Kapiti would look great in XPlane, the water is a lot better than FSX. It's a pity you can't just pick and choose the best bits from each sim.... I listened to the interview with Dovetails Stephen Hood, admittedly at the time I'd had three beers, which is my limit these days, but I did think he made a lot of sense. He did say that long-term Dovetail wanted to make the best simulator ever, so I'm reasonably happy that there's a great future for simming. You need to get the installer for the version of P3D you have, There are usually some changes to the way things are done in P3D so teh installers have to be updated, this is a P3D thing not Orbx. Of course one they are installed you can update them through FTX central.

I LOVE my Logitech G940 Set up, recently found a programme to finally get the little wee buttons to blink and light up in little colours Lol That is not a replacement but addon just for combat sim's , it would be interesting with the force feedback in a shoot the barstool type game.

Last year I changed over to P3D, I did run into problems and with Help its all up and running great. As you will notice its very similar to FSX in the layout. I only found 2 aircraft that I thought they were only ok and have gone to Carando for a replacement. I do still think FSX is really good but you will find a difference with P3D.

It seriously dose affect people in different ways , with me its water, the ocean and rivers I do not go near - totally keep away but have a fascination with warships ... earthquakes I'm lucky here as my place is almost modulated and wobbles with the flow .. the structure dose not have a heavy roof , best way off looking at it people don't like air turbulence , it really is near the same feeling.
