Anybody else here love staring out the window at night for hours on end watching the planes coming in from various parts of the world and lining up to land? Well I have some obsession for it  Anyway in fs2004 is there anyway to get your ai aircaft to display landing lights like real ie. you can see them maybe 30 miles out? landing lights are coded into the landing gear so when they extend the lights come on. Might be able to code it to first stage of flaps but that wo`nt be thirty miles out!

i installed FS98 a couple of weeks ago, what a laugh. the graphics are just appalling by todays standards. I installed fs for win 95 and thats even funnier. "wow look at my plane, its very stick like" lol I loaded up an adventure in fs98 "boston aproch" i think it was I flew it, exited and flew the same adventure in 2004 (i was surprised it was excacly the same thing) it was amazing to look at how the graphics have changed. from the 98 737 to the 2004 one! wow

Hay thanks Yeah i was able to download everything from the "downloads" section of A320 and A330. So i got the A320 and A330 pathch but still can not get the ones from te FAQs section. I wounder if i need that patch for the panel to work. I have FSUIPC v3.60 I think the panel was desinged for FSUIPC 2.X not sure thow. Maby i need to register FSUIPC. The problems im haveing are that on the A330 panel in te message area of the EICAs it reapetably says "malfunction" and the ai does not stop doing its loading up thing were it spins around or something. In the A320 it says in...

In my AI I've separated out a set of Qantas 733s, so I have some listed QFA and some listed QNZ. The QNZ ones park at the domestic. Yup that would be the only way around it, unfortunately the fp's that I use have the Jetconnect 733's doing both as in real life. So its a tradeoff for realism, either have some just doing the domestics and use different parking codes or have them doing both domestics and internationals and risk some internationals parking at the domestic terminal or vice versa. :)

So what does make a true Kiwi VA? Seems the point of this post has been steered off course by a personnal vendetta evading the question. For myself the question has been answered and I agree with most points its the strength of commitment of a few that would know understand and enjoy what New zealand has to offer. Afterall Flight Sim was made for the American Market and Oceania was left out of the mould in the boxed version! It has taken the talant of New Zealanders and Australians to shape what we have today and Australia was lagging behind before that giant leap they call VOZ :P...
