See, what I want is to keep all airport comms the same and have it so that the Ai can land at the unattended/ unicom airport and have them actually park. I want to do this as I have the Air NZ link AI flightplans and would like to actually see the planes at airports like Whanagrei that don't have a tower.

Howdy, Good question. It actually does pay to shop around. With the $US being around the NZ $0.65-67 cents mark, it really is preferable to deal directly with US distributors rather than European (the Euro being approximately 0.53 cents). Unfortunately, the majority of distributors are European (simMarket, for example) so one just has to bite the bullet. <_< Of course, the problem with dealing direct with some companies (AeroSoft, Flight 1) is the incredibly burdensome task of reactivating software (should you have the need to). Having said that though, even simMarket can be a...

Your speed will be the same, but if you are on a multiplayer server, you will appear to be moving in stutters. ;) Alex Edit; That said James, usually the best idea is to use FS time, unless you are flying the flight real-time, usually you'd have to allow for all sorts of crazy time zones as well if this is the case.

Yeah caught me out too initially. To correct it - Login Go to My Controls/Options/Board Settings There is a tick box there for daylight savings time. Though some good thoughts. If I follow your line of thinking I could stop the Financial controller from having retail therapy. I think you're onto something.

Well, use common sense, nothing huge, and make it a reasonable size so dial-up users won't be adversely affected. ;) Alex

Hmph! I thought I was upgrading when I swapped 7 or MX! Oh well, better un-install and put version 7 back, unless anyone knows how to get the FSX runway textures in fs9...?

Yep, I'm with you gokanru. Top of my wish list would be the NAC Skyliner DC3, and the SPANZ Viewmaster DC3. Please, anyone got a set of paintbrushes capable of attacking the FS2004 Default DC3 for these 2 classic historical Kiwi repaints ???

If they aren't into flight sim, they aren't my friends! Let's put that in perspective - most of my friends ARE simmers! My kids ask what's new, and tolerate my tales of tweaked sceneries and repainted Cessnas. My grandkids are happy to crash the planes on my computer, though one at least takes pride in keeping airborne for more than two minutes. We will never fully fit among mortals but that's close enough... ;)
