You guys should use our SAAB 2000 it was one of the fastest turboprops ever nearly reaching the speed of a 737, would be a great advantage and you could fly in NZFF colours  >nzflag< Bit of a handfull to land though

just visited the wellington and christchurch ones. All I can say is that they're fantastic. Quite a different feeling flicking all the switches for real rather than pressing buttons on the keyboard or using the mouse. Is it worth it? As with everything it depends. Then again, if you are posting in this forum chances are that you'll be blown away - unless you have access to either the real thing or a $10,000,000 motion sim. I can only recommend it - wholehearedly. Cheers, Christian

wonder if it comes with the teddy bear in the last picture? It seems like a nice buy for a real enthusiast, but its not really my dream of spending $2500 B) (I want a RC Gas powered plane with a camera on it, and a tv screen on the ground, and a long range remote  )

Towerguy, very interesting reading and thanks for the info. Certainly food for thought. It also makes you appreciate the navigators who managed to travel great distances prior to GPS etc. Regards, Craig

It'd be a shame to lose the AIS component in the AI fleet. Given we have moved on a generation in computing power, maybe LOD's are not as weighty as they once were? Be great to have the rest out sooner rather than later, with successive LOD patches if there's an outcry I thought about this Charl, you may have seen the first props released with the sounds air set, no LOD's on that baby. I probably will put the rest out sooner rather than later as you say, I'm also considering upgrading them as well, I never found the LOD thing that bigger a deal as the models are basic to...

Well anothor mounh has gone by heres a short progresss report for December: I placed a add with 1000 clicks, after 1000 people had clicked it there were no new aplicants for the airline. Maby the add will placed again soon. We have 13 pilots, well done Chris, Jared, Alex (we forgive you for the crash, come back and fly again lol) and Alster, you guys are the only pilots who fly with flynet vanz! Our fleet has really grown to a point that some aircraft have been or are in the processes of being sold. We have all the aircraft that the real worl anz has except for the 777. There...

The RealAir Spitfire almost begs you to try a wheels-up landing, sparks, smoke, noise, very dramatic. But overdo it slightly and it definitely qualifies as a crash!

Thanks Trolly - Merry Christmas to you too, and to everyone else as well. I've given up on fixing it though. Windows failed to install correctly again, so I'll have to leave it to the professionals next year sometime. So no flying for me for a while - have to find myself a good book instead :)

There was a article in Febuary 2006 computer pilot magazine all about gliding and the differant sites to go to to find gliding stuff, even stuff to simulate two ropes I think, here are the links: US soaring team Virtual soaring society Wolfgang pipers Glid Collection Cross country 2004 (avionics) There is also this file name mentioned: ABLWINCH14.zip, It doesn't say were to get it thow so just have a look around, it says itll tow you into the sky.... Aparently according to the article some of Wolfgang's Gliders simulate a winch so give them a try. I'm not sure about the fs9...
