I did get a very nice email from Ted, which I won't go into, but I will say that he came across as a very sensible and down-to-earth guy. Ok, I will quote him just this once, as I think he was a bit concerned that his comments of low FPS would be taken as putting FSX, NZ scenery, and 'Real NZ' scenery, is a negative light. QUOTE I hope I have not upset you talking about single figures and NZ scenery. I think your scenery is fantastic and am eagerly waiting your Auckland scenery and whatever else you may produce. Yes someone did spot my name on the ARNZ web site became I won a copy...

Yes it does for me. -10fps at least, BUT it's beautiful. Typical quality vs. performance issue again... /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif />

Timmo you hit the nail right on the head when you stated that people with far gruntier machines are having problems. When FSX first came out I built a new machine to run it.While not the heavy duty machine that others are running,I none the less get very acceptable performance on it.Now guys don't laugh at these specs when you read them,Ashton has been at my place and seen FSX runnning so he will be able to back up what I say. CPU: E6400 2.13 GB Dual Core Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-945PL-S3 Graphics Card: Win Fast PX7600 256MB PCI Express 16x Memory: 2GB@533 Power Supply:450Watt I Invite you...

I was playing with the yoke and throttle in Harvey Norman, big price tag but it was so smooth and with the throttles, that come with it, I wanted it so bad. They had about 5 of them in stock, and when I went back a couple of days later, all gone. Very popular!

QUOTE (Naki @ Jun 12 2008, 11:20 PM) Derek Ill get in touch with you when I get the goodies - hopefully before you leave but not looking likely - anyway I wont do anything with them until you are back. Anybody want the Dreamfleet Archer CD add on for FS 2004? Its a classic! It was my first payware addon I bought a few years ago now and started this whole thing off for me. Still can stand up to todays add ons. Cheers, See you then.

Nah i think you can mate but its easy just going to you fav spot press save and you will be able to load that flight with that plane whenever you like in that spot you could have as many saved flights like this hundreds even and just pick and choise as you plz ,even if you have to to a reinstall FSIM for whatever reason ,you can back them up and paste them over forever etc...simple as mate /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif />

At least it beats the old 8086 for a name or the 486. :D BTW at least these next generation PCs will blow away those consoles the only problem is software as theres nothing out there that could use such a PC to its full potential.

QUOTE (Naki @ Jun 11 2008, 07:35 PM) I also have a quick question Are there updates following the real world like no more Air NZ Saabs and more Q300's? The Air New Zealand fleet will be up to date within a month or two of when the package is released, there will also be small updates this time to add B777-300 and B787's when they arrive.
