That's right, Also at smalller airports like Tauranga ,Sunair Aviation is in charge and once ATC have instructed them to taxi apron,They change to sunair freq where they get directed to where they want them parked, even though you can't really go wrong here.

QUOTE (Trolly @ Nov 17 2008, 10:40 AM) ...Whats the deal with the POSKY 777? Is there going to be a conclusive v.2 or do all the updates and VC basepacks etc. need to be installed one by one? And has anyone done an ANZ repaint for her yet? As for the Section 8 Sabre, well that's first on my list of new toys to get, however, I can't imagne a new F86 that would top Kirk's one... 'Tis good to be back at the reins /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> Haha Welcome back Andrew! There's a wealth of lovely stuff awaiting!...

QUOTE (Chairman @ Nov 17 2008, 12:14 AM) Got it, was just a case of leaving the computer turned off for a while. Must have been static electricity build-up in the internal cabling due to the increased gravitational field you get with a full moon. More likely to be ants eating the gold off your motherboard! (It happened to a keyboard of mine). Good to hear it's all working. Amazing looking pit. I wonder whether it'd work in FSX? I see they haven't released the interior for the FSX "727 Captain" series.

QUOTE (ZK-KAG @ Nov 18 2008, 10:13 PM) Gidday guys, Thanks for the email Ian. I have recently lost all my work on Edit Voice Pack due to a reformat, and no backup of those file before I did it /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif /> However if I remember correctly, the callsign "Race" was included in either the default FS voice pack, or as a callsign someone else created within Edit Voice Pack, so should be avaliable if you download the pack... Also my condolences to the family as well. Us flight simmers are having a bad run - I note that Greg Pepper has also died - he made some wonderful aircraft includng the Convair that pops up here a lot (and one of my first FS downloads).

Good luck, it's hard work gettig up to speed, and takes some dedication. You might consider upping your flight contingent to 7, for the same reasons the RW outfit do. Look forward to seeing some video of your efforts, thanks for the post.

QUOTE (Airtrainer @ Oct 29 2008, 11:19 PM) Dude, that is awesome!! It's got about eight cup holders. Heh! I wonder whether the control stick has a sensitivity setting for when they get the caffeine jitters! What are those two grey "titties" in the centre console? Lights?

Check out the NZ AI Projects (GNZLAP) forum here at NZFF. It's possible to get it working in FSX, though requires a wee bit of tweaking. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> Alex

While Airbus definitely does use computers to modify flight control inputs from the pilots, it does not stop the rudder from being used at all. As people have suggested that would be dangerous and just plane stupid! /wink.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :wink2: border= 0 alt= wink.gif /> I find the flight characteristics of the default A-321 very stupid and unrealistic (were talking about FSX right?). It seems like they tried to do a cheap modeling of Airbus' Fly-by-Wire system. What I get is very sluggish controls above 500ft and suddenly as I am just about to land the...

I've got it for you!!! Just found it myself, could be useful for anywone who struggles with a plane, with huuuuge turning radius: You can make a simple edit of the aircraft.cfg file. Just open it in Notepad (double click it) and find the section. On the first line (which starts point.0=...) you will see many numbers after the equals sign. The 8th number is usually around 47 to 52 - this is the Steering Angle. Change this to 70.00 and the plane will turn much sharper, allowing you to make those "terminal turns" arriving at the gate. QUOTE (Bazza @ Oct 21 2008, 08:18 AM) I was wondering about WOAI myself. Who they are and what's behind them.? For freeware they seem to produce a staggering amount of stuff. WOAI don't really create any aircraft models as far as I know, and also don't necessarily create all the textures you get with their bundles. From what I can make out their effort is more directed at creating flight-plans for airlines then sourcing repaints that authors are happy for them to use and bundling them together. WOAI provide an installer like the PAI one which does a great job of splicing...
