Yep- can confirm much better handling on all the default Asobo aircraft- twitchiness all but gone and can flare the light GA aircraft with decent joystick deflection. Very happy with the update! For what its worth, I set my reactivity to 40% for the elevator axis and 30% for the rudder axis and have stopped using FSUPIC7 for the input curves.

Well when you have that all sorted, can you please explain why on the classic it stands the thrust levers up for no apparent reason and then the FMC says "drag required" It's not just Flightsim that does weird things.

I am free to a good home where a busty, blond, blue-eyed, Scandinavian blond resides, with a Harley Davidson '59 Panhead motorcycle parked in her garage for my everyday use. The best of both worlds! ..I might even learn Scandinavian?... ...! What is Scandinavian for ...WOO-HOO!... :D ...! Pail... :uk: ... ... ...!

OK for flight sims, and DOWNLOADING stuff at my 36Mb/s, but my biggest problem is my 6.1 Mb/s UPLOAD speed when it comes to uploading my video files to YouTube! It takes forever to process!.... :( ...! I generally watch the grass growing outside during the upload... ...the grass is quicker. It would be a similar problem uploading "our" edited Flight Sim Videos to YouTube? Paul... ... ...! Example...>>>

Pretty much my findings as well! As with FSX and P3D, the ATC is often totally useless.

If you only want basic wind speed and direction, that's shown in the flight planning page. There are loads of free online flight planners that will show METAR information, but I use the *excellent* LittleNavMap (that's been updated to work with FS 2020). If you select an airport, you'll get the METAR info in the "Overview" tab, as well as a human-readable equivalent in the "Weather" tab. LittleNavMap Docs: 41.1.2. Online - NOAA, VATSIM and IVAO Online weather from both sources is updated every 10 minutes. Here's what I've got right now for NZAA (midday): LittleNavMap :...

As regards push-back ... are you at an actual *gate*? I find it doesn't work at all *parking* slots. Also - you occasionally get told that other ground services are unavailable "Can't find the baggage" is a hilarious one! However - if you wait a bit, the ground crew appear to co-operate. Are they allowed tea breaks on the job? Adam. True to life then :) Yep wait most days

The A320 is passable (for a default aircraft) but IMHO the B747 is a joke. So much functionality is missing and the flight model feels all wrong (not that I would know!!!). Worst of all is that the model SDK uses the *prehistoric* method of mirroring textures - so any text repeated on the other side of the fuselage is reversed.

"Which one is the 'any' key?" It's the one nearest where your thumb is at the moment. Oh? I'm sorry, didn't realise... Good to read all these experiences. I'm a Steamer, and although it irritates by forever phoning home, the content has always delivered flawlessly. Won't hurt to stay with it, then.

Well done Bruiser, you are recalling a bunch of old members! I've just been going through my post history. Since I joined in 2009 (and haven't been here since) as an avid flight simmer I've gone to flight school, got a PPL, CPL and ATPL credits, built a career outside of aviation, launched a start-up.... and just last week I built a new PC for MSFS 2020. Quite a pleasant surprise to hear from this place again and marvellously timed also. Congratulations on your PPL, CPL and ATPL, Michael. While I haven't gone to flight school myself (yet), I did manage to get in a trial flight with the...

Considering all the map data is streamed for MSFS2020, and that is the lure of the sim, if the 90GB download is an issue you're going to have problems further down the line.
