QUOTE (veryshort @ Jun 28 2009, 12:09 PM) Hi Guys , Sorry this might be off topic here ... but Zkiwi how do you use your mode switch with FSUIPC on your Saiteck yoke ? is it possible to give me an example of how you have set it up ? thanks for your time ...I can start a new thread if you prefer ? Cheers Andrew { Veryshort } Hey sorry for the slow reply. Have a look at this message thread here. From memory about the sixth message down lists how to set up compund mode on FSUIPC and the SAITEK yoke.

QUOTE (Trolly @ Jun 7 2009, 05:33 PM) however at half a mill, its a bit out my price range, plus the $200 per hour to use it normally, and maintenance and hire from Frasca- I think Savern's new setup will become far more popular! The only flaw in this plan being the need to get certification from CAA to be able to log time in it... which I imagine is not a quick, easy or cheap process /rolleyes.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= rolleyes.gif /> Still, you only need to get the certification once, and then you can pump out as many as you...

Long time ago (When Ultimate Traffic came out) I was in charge of the PAI package team. It was the same then as it is now, don't waste your money on payware AI Traffic, it never lives up to it's hype. Back then tho they basically just used PAI aircraft anyways lol... Just spend the time and grap the afcads, flightplans and planes and do it the manual way. Far better results and much easier to keep track of

I use both REX and Active Sky Advanced. no Troubles and fps fluid stable. Its the same if I used REX only. REX has a update coming for FSX and they have the Fs9 REX coming. So I recomend REX and ASA as a stand by backup. Both addons work very well in Windows 7 both 32 and 64 bit. So thats a plus when looking at the new operation system from MS. Since adding Windows 7 ive seen even more fluid gain in FPS. I stoped using FEX due to long lack of WX engine and its failure to work with Fs9. I wanted something that was fair to both sims and REX and its pending fs9 along with ASA won the battle.

Yeah... for a lot of the 'old stuff'... you need to get something like DOSBox, that lets you 'clock down' your PC... /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> And one of the guys at PCF had an issue with FS2004 and the MAAM DC-3 not so long ago... for some reason, having your framerate set any higher than 30, could prevent you from starting the aircraft up?!?!! As he had just invested in a nice new PC, and was enjoying flying around the countryside at 50+ fps, he really didnt want to lock the framerate at 30... thankfully we...
