From a quick look at that conversion tool, you need to install the AI first. Then run the tool, it renames the FS2004 traffic BGL to disable it, and creates a FSX version, from the looks of it.

Like the casual nature of their podcasts, nice lightweight and entertaining conversations, cool to get you on there Dan "representing" /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> but way too much distracting off-topic stuff in some of their other podcasts. Been listening to the FSBreak podcasts lately, their production values seem higher and the content more substantial. What other sim related podcasts are there out there?

Well, finally found a way to upload the video. There is no input from me in the video clip, the plane is on autopilot. Strange issue.

Hiya Les - I have replied to your PM. Sorry for the delay!! I should be able to arrange a sneaky visit for you to the tower in a couple of weeks, so keep in touch! To the other HN Simmers (And any others interested) I'll be moving to Auckland sometime in Jan or Feb 2010. I have FINALLY got my transfer to Auckland Oceanic Radar, so I won't be around the tower for very much longer. However I will still be simming and on NZFF and VATSIM as much as my wife allows (Including this Sundays event which is based in Hamilton no less!!). Cheers!!! Mat

This was a major feature of Microsoft's new Train Simulator, which has been discontinued. It was pretty well accepted that Train Simulator was the early development platform for FS, so the next version of FS would share a lot of features. There's an interesting article on animated people here . Imagine that at your airport... As creator2003 said, to get this to work properly would be best done as a built-in feature in a new sim, but I suspect that somewhere someone is working on a whole bunch of 'real' people to populate FSX airports.

Great. Not many turned up (but that was fine being the first one) but those that did were buzzing. The venue was great. They want another one - perhaps mid 2010 and over 2 days. Watch this space for more info as it comes to hand.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about it at all. As long as we are all having fun, that's all that matters /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

Update : I updated a pretty clean install of 3.5 (over an up-to-date 3.0.13) on my Vista PC. Everything works: "Insert Link": NZFSIM "Insert Image": "Insert Email": Email Test ... so ... I can only presume that it's one of my gazillion extensions that's causing the problem /sad.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :( border= 0 alt= sad.gif />

Thanks guys I have a free programme called pixia that I use for most of my graphics, I will have to see if it can handel "vector* outline - that's resolution/size independent" QUOTE Id seriously look at getting Corel Draw , you can scale , has photo editing and many other pluggins and features , fonts to cliparts , an impressive program that i swear by ... the best idea to get a cheap copy 'brand new' is find somebody that has access to a Unversity/campus shop . You will never regret buying yourself a copy . Thanks Ian I will have a search on the net. Thanks also Bandit...

Good to see you got it running okay. I used to use FS Navigator, but since that is not available for FSX, FS Commander is the next best.
