QUOTE (gypsymoth @ Feb 12 2010, 11:18 AM) Well, that'll teach me to keep my newbie mouth shut. I thought it looked nice but as AI won't use it I've deleted it. I shalln't get any more - once bitten..... Most of the New Zealand sceneries work fine in the default without the Topo installed, and you can get a freeware 75m version of the payware 20m mesh Most of the NZ sceneries also work fine in the freeware 75m mesh by Christian Stock. QUOTE (tezaa @ Feb 17 2009, 10:38 PM) Hi all, For all those who wish to connect their 'real-world' G/A headsets to their computer ... I wish to make you all aware of a new Aviation Headset/USB Adapter on the market. Checkout "Flight Sounds" at www.flightsounds.com and their "Flight Sound X" adapter. Personally, I can vouch for the devices quality. Up and running in 30 seconds. It's the kind of technology I love because it JUST WORKS. I have been communicating with JimNZ from www.jimspage.co.nz who writes the following: “A great unit ,, great audio ,,...

I had both TIR and AS start automatically with FS at one point - I think it's something in FSUIPC, but without having the sim running I can't check. The moving target thing isn't a problem if you have enough yoke / joystick buttons to assign one to freeze it (and one to reset the view), and mine is quite happy under any overhead artificial light, or daylight as long as the curtains on the window behind me are shut. Probably helps that they're dark blue ... I've also found that even in a really bad VC TIR makes it almost worthwhile - if you need to do anything delicate...

Just to show the type of man he was, he would help anyone. Back in the early nineties I had an engine failure approaching Hood aerodrome, put her down and who repaired her for the flight out the next day? On holiday in the states he visited and was made an Honorary Coronal of the Confederate Airforce of America. Why? He jumped in and repaired an aircraft in distress (a P51 I believe) Bob would help anyone. A hard Man , but a big teddy bear. All who knew Bob were in deed very Privileged.

Yeah I'd be up for a few circuits sometime I tried it in MP today the TACAN works good but because of gamespy the MP is not so good. BTW if you land you get a thing for the logbook which is cool.
