QUOTE (creator2003 @ Apr 22 2010, 09:22 PM) No that is not correct as far as im concerned since the first version came out fsx has improved its performance and stability with SP1 SP2 , Acceleration is SP1 SP2 updates with 3 extra aircraft and missions ,when it comes down to its a factor of things that have let other people down in there set up i think ,not FSX acceleration addon itself .. opinion Cool /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Sounds about right.

QUOTE (BigBird @ Apr 19 2010, 01:37 PM) I have been doing the majority of starts in the 767 from cold and dark. You'll find it fairly straight forward if you've been flying the 737 PIC from cold and dark. /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> Well ... I ended up breaking a habit of a lifetime .. and actually RTFM /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> It's quite satisfying stepping all the way through the procedures in an utterly anal manner and finally lifting off, isn't...

Don't give up hope, you are 99.9% of the way to success. Unfortunately, tweaking FSX is a never ending process. Thanks to you and the next member - I will try these tips over the coming weekend. Thanks a million! I have already pushed 70 a few years ago now but still enjoying my flying here are a couple on Triple screen shots. Nice to see I am not alone (age-wise too). I will print our your reply and give it a atry over the coming weekend. Keep you both poster!

QUOTE (dbcunnz @ Apr 4 2010, 05:39 PM) I do have the HS 748 Mt Cook Texture only also the Andover RNZAF textures only and if I could find a Fokker F-27 with a VC that worked in FSX then I would have one or two of those preferably in NAC and ANZ textures also would like to find a Viscount with VC that worked in FSX in NAC and or ANZ textures. Doug I think my two would depend on what I'm trying. Low and slow - the Sf260 from real air, and if I'm cutting holes in the air - the level D 767 Though fly the AC680 a lot...

QUOTE (Adamski @ Mar 25 2010, 08:28 AM) Nice review, Jason! Looking forward to your "how-to's". I may even revive my old UT, have a play, then think about an upgrade. *If* I were to be adding a schedule for (say) Whenuapai ... would the first step be taking a peek at the NZWP AFCAD to see what parking slots are available - so that I can assign UT parking codes? So ... would the complete procedure be: 1) Create a new airline (called RNZAF). 2) Create a new carrier (eg. 40th Squadron) <???>. 3) Allocate parking codes to that Airline <??>. 4) Create the UT...

QUOTE (SA227 @ Mar 11 2010, 05:49 PM) Yep a very nice machine. Had the pleasure of flying ZK-BBJ in the right seat from Wellington to Christchurch back in the late 80's. Also went top dressing in the right seat of ZK-AWO out of Woodbourne in the early 80's. That was a ride and a half. Man in charge wasn't Dave Horsburgh by any chance? Yes it was Dave Horsburg. And a very happy chap he is /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Pete

QUOTE (happytraveller @ Mar 11 2010, 12:06 PM) Just wondering if it is possible to trace the person who was sending out this spam and then report him. Sure that it is a criminal offense now to send out spam, so if we can trace him/her then it would be good to punish him/her for this. I cannot see the purpose in sending out spam and viruses like this. Smooth landings. I agree HT, But i think its quite a process. I had a system totally destroyed by something like this (i know better now) I did manage to get a fix on the source, but it turned out it was comeing from about 3 places and...

QUOTE (BigBird @ Feb 24 2010, 05:04 PM) I would love a 421 for FSX. Unfortunately my PC just doesn't seem to like Flight1 products very much. They work, but when I try to import flight plans etc my FSX crashes... All the time. Thats odd, Im ok with flight 1, but anything from CLS i have real trouble with....their support system is pretty good, but last time they just had to refund me.....wonder why that happens?
