QUOTE I am shocked to read that it is leagal to upload to torrent a purchased cd without profit Its in no way legal to do this here in NZ or Ozzy ,though there is nothing done about it under our laws which makes it in someways fully ok to do so, as they will not enforce the copyright act because they dont have a law that covers it if you dont make money out of it , how bloody stupid our country is with no laws to defend our intellectual copyrights .. Let down again by the Govt, they where suppose to have done something about it in the last Govt but Tax cuts and other things like the fighting...

I'm hoping this technology can be used to simulate boarding of people onto aircraft and so on. Would be good. I'd imagine it could be possible give than FSX can tell where aircraft doors are with the animated jetways etc. A bit of tweaking of some code and it could be possible to do. Would just need a method then of turning on and off the script within FSX. Interesting times. BTW, this new PeopleFlow technology is available in the Bundaberg Airport scenery pack from Orbx released late in December. They have plans to put these people in all their airport sceneries, so if you have any...

/thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> Got it (VLC) ....NOW i have to do it justice. Today, i spent a few hours in computer shops around town...just looking. I really want to get my graphics up to speed......i was looking for an upgrade for my 512mb AGP card. I meet this young fella from Global PC who seemed amused at the fact i was asking about AGP components......by now i was feeling old........he showed me their only AGP card($260...for a 1gb)and then told me he would take my money, but it would be a waste of time installing it , as...

A shake around midnight last night knocked our Christmas tree over... my flatmate did a dash around taking her porcelain dolls (of which there are many, many) off the shelves.

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Dec 13 2010, 11:43 PM) Following up , a poll , the AI .. I leveled the playing ground , appears to me FSX AI for New Zealand is better repusented in freeware than payware , Traffic X models are bloody horrible compared to the Orbx freeware FTX AI , trouble with them they don,t work in DX10 . World of AI, Military AI Works and whatever I can make myself work for me as far as AI traffic go.

QUOTE (ScottyB @ Dec 6 2010, 10:52 PM) So have we concluded that it won't run too well on my laptop? I can have it on medium settings if need be. If you don't have money for a PC, just have a lash on your laptop - start the settings out lowish, and try working them up a little at a time to see how far you can go before you get into "slideshow" mode. Funny thing about FSX - if you start low, have a fly, restart FSX, adjust sliders up a little, have a fly etc, one can get better performance than if one started the process with sliders further over. Not sure how or why...

I've flown predominantly in NZ and the USA on vatsim. NZ is WAYYYY easier /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> Hope you have a good time downunder. Not sure I can make it to Cross the Pond this time, but I enjoyed it very much last time, I'm sure you'll enjoy the ATC here too.
