Downloaded it the other day, very useful. Although the charts feature is a bit too small for an iPhone, it would certainly do the job if need be. Yet to test out the track feature, but looks good!

QUOTE (Bazza @ Apr 7 2011,10:01 PM) I've got this model as well, my only gripe is as you've pointed out above. I've spent hours googling, trying to find a solution, without luck. I use the force feedback, I like the "clunk" through the plane as the wheels retract. /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Bazz... I leave Force Feed-back turned off, place my chair on a plank of wood, and just raise it up with my hands, and drop it down, with me still sat on it, for the "Wheel Retract" effect... Much more...

I'm making a guess, but from your specifications it appears the you are using a low-end Laptop, which is not really suitable for gaming, especially something like FSX... /blink.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= blink.gif /> ....! One thing I have never done, is run the risk of infringing the guarantees, and destroying any of my computers components by "over-clocking" them! I either purchase, and up-grade the existing internal components in my Tower/Desktop computers, or purchase a complete, faster Desktop/Tower computer, which I had to do...

Yes, this is SimMarket stuff only. Still, some good entries this year, but I'd rather see FS awards which can include nominations for top freeware... This would be the Tauranga update which was released 2010. Since the FS2004 Tauranga managed third in 2006, and this is better, I'm aiming for second:)

QUOTE (LWJCarroll @ Mar 3 2011,10:51 PM) Thanks Doug and Dean....that confirmed its worth installing SP2 for FSX....I think I will have to buy another one (FSX Gold I think) as I have packed away my FSX CD......as the Reg edit fix doesn't work for me on my PC setup....I still keep getting the English language error..... Rgds Laurie Hi Doug/Dean, FYI...I did go ahead and get FSX Gold Edition which also has the Accelerator add-on....btw it does include SP 1 and SP 2 in FSX already so I didnt have to do an update etc.. I bought it from the guys at FirstGames.co.nz here in Auckland...

QUOTE (SA227 @ Mar 11 2011,6:23 PM) Checked with the Mrs who is an aviation met expert and it should have been included in the main body of the metar only if it was within 8km of the airfield and should have been added to the remarks if it was within 16km. Of course all that assumes that somebody actually saw it and all the controllers would normally be facing the other way. It would have been issued as a SIGMET.

QUOTE (Fozzer @ Mar 14 2011,10:15 AM) ..if Avsim are listening... I really hope that they decide to leave the site in its old, familiar style... (The new? style was unbelievably confusing!). Paul...I like things left as they are!... /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif />...! P.S....Excellent news...WSP is up and running again!!.... Looks like they listened! Good on them for reverting to the familiar while they work through the issues. I hope they sort it.
