As promised, rapid repaint over the weekend for this Overland A380 in FS2004. As I've used someone else's base colours for the blank/white textures I'm not intending to share it without their permission. It gives the model a slightly dirty, in service look'. Be great to see this plying the LHR/LAX route as NZ1/NZ2.

A319 now in progress...

Maybe it would look better with bigger ANZ writing.

Is that a separate layer?

Nice work on the repaint. Be interesting to see what the tail looks like with the Koru a bit smaller, I know its probably in proportion w a "regular" sized airliner livery but it just looks SOOOOooo huge on the A380 as you have it there I reckon

One of the ugliest aircraft ever to display the Air NZ livery...nice repaint though.
I believe Emirates call theirs the A180....pushes back then does a 180 right back onto blocks. Dispatch reliability is 65%.
Qantas call theirs the A 2 latey....always late. For some reason they cannot take a full load ex LA. I have unofficially heard that they have to carry around 40 tonne extra gas to cover the Equi time point depressurised gas between Honolulu and Sydney as no other airfields in between can handle an A380.....kinda skew balls the economics if this is the case.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Don't disagree with the comments about the sizing - the titles are the same size as on the B747 yet look out of proportion only because of the extra depth to the fuselage. I'll try a bigger font but will also have to enlarge the wave to keep the proportion. You guys will have to wait until I've finished my NZ A319 though. Now that DOES look cute. Will upload as soon as poss.

Yup, that's LHR in the background on the second shot.

Helicopters can't actually fly. Their just so ugly that the world repels them. :)
