20 years of NZFF!

That kinda crept up on me! In the ANZAC Day banner request thread fellow Blenheimite dbcunnz unearthed the 10th anniversary banner, and to my surprise I saw it on the day we turn 20!

Happy birthday NZFF!

I joined a few months in and have been in and out over the years, but still quite a few of the old hands are here. A few have left us completely, and there are newer folks I'm still getting to know. I've made some great friends here and am so glad to see how strong this community remains after so long. Long may it continue.

Hard to believe, really.
I am one of a handful of original 2006 vintage, who is still around.
Of the survivors, Toprob has been here longest, beating me by two days.
He was actually the earliest instigator of the notion, and (just ) qualifies as Still Active.

Impressive stuff, esp. considering all the alternatives for interaction these days, great to see really that there's still some traction here. I took a quick look at the first few pages of account sign-ups from 2006 on and you'd be surprised how many of the OG's there are that do pop in to view every month or two without posting.

Still reckon we need to drag out some-a those older screenies Doug mentioned into a NZFF-over-the-years post???
