I must admit, that the multitude of Maori names of places in New Zealand, often puts me off from flying there each day!

I find it impossible to pronounce them, or remember their spellings...very confusing!

As an English Bloke, I can cope with the Latin (South American/Spanish/Mexican) place names in the USA, but Maori place names in New Zealand leave me completely flummoxed!...sad.gif...!

Since the Europeans, etc, landed there, I often wonder how much "Maori" still influences New Zealand?

Paul....Always curious of such things!.... winkyy.gif .... laugh.gif ...!
