So is the plan for FXT to be based here in NZ rather than Oz with the others?

Great repaint Dean. I have just downloaded it now. This will be a great realistic aircraft to fly in the VATSIM main trunk SNO's.
Thanks very much ......... now about a Bell air repaint for the PAD Beech 99 ......*cough*...... *cough* smile.gif
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

It is still alive. I am working on this aeroplane right now. It is undergoing a few modifications. It is getting a gravel kit, and lots of avionics work, as well as a new registration. I love this aeroplane. Is it true that this is the only 200 left of its kind with this door?

Hi ya SubiSam , welcome to NZFF with your first posting , now who's model are you working on , gravel kits really not a NZ feature , as far as 200QC's i'm sure there would be plenty more with standard and cargo fittings .. more in African states or even possibly South America .

Yeah there were only about 100 of the QuickChange models built so would be interesting to know how many are still airworthy as you say.
see: http://www.b737.org.uk/737original.htm

There are a lot of 200/ADV models which have since been converted to freighters though, and as Ian says they're mostly in Africa or South America. There are also operators like Northen Air Cargo in Alaska who operate these conversions today:

Ian - can we please spare everyone the usual "you know what" banter this time ay?
