No didn't - took one look at it and that was enough. There was a good Sunderland for FS2000 or FS2002 but that is history now.....

Yeah .. I have the copy up in front of me ONLY TOO remind me off my own stupidity but also to whined others up when they stop here and laugh at me laugh.gif

Stuart Green's Sunderland is one of my all-time favourites in FS9

Easier asked than answered, Ian - I HAD a good FS9 Sunderland, with a not great but usable VC, but to give you a good answer, I downloaded the most recent version from Britsim, and when I installed it, it would not show me any gauges in the VC angry.gif
The JBK Hythe, Solent, and Sandringham all show a nice VC, but despite various aliasing tricks and other cons, I have not been able to get a usable VC in the SG Sunderland.
The panel.cfg for the Britsim download looks to have the same coding as the JBK Hythe one.
I can't see why it wouldn't work, but I am very tired of checking cfg files with a fine-toothed magnifying glass.
I had a look around the 'Net, but could not find any adverse comment about the 2009 updated file at Britsim.
In the end I just reinstalled the old 2005 one.
If you have time, would you mind trying the Britsim one? - if it works for you, that would confirm my suspicion that the problems are local to my machine. Been seeing some other odd things happening. The machine is clean; at the moment Win7 is the chief suspect.

It one of those things that i believe you cannot swap VC in FS9 as they not made the same as FSX - two independent models or so , the Win7 is perfectly fine for FS9 , its they way the model has been made .

Yeah, I was thinking about VCs being part of the mdl, and all that - just seems very odd that no-one has commented on the later version, if indeed it has the problems I saw today.
Win7 generally has been good to me, except where USB devices are concerned. It seems to remember the port, rather than the device ID, which causes all sorts of mayhem.

I am glad you mentioned that. I thought that it was just my system. The whole USB set up with Win7 is somewhat bizarre and troublesome. Then there's Win8 ....but we wont go there smile.gif.

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!
